MILWAUKEE, WI. (THECOUNT) — It has been a busy day for the Milwaukee County medical examiner after the office responded to a pair of fatal shootings on Sunday afternoon.

Police confirmed an investigation had been opened for a fatal shooting occuring in the area of North 60th Street and Silver Spring Drive in Milwaukee on Sunday. The coroner didn’t immediately offer further details on that incident.

Sunday morning the coroner was dispatched to an earlier fatal shooting involving a 50-year-old man who shot while operating a vehicle near 45th Street and Center Street. No one was taken into custody for that crime.

The victims have not yet been identified.

Officials released no suspect or motive information.
