HERMITAGE, TN. (THECOUNT) — Police have identified the three people found dead at a home in Hermitage, Tennessee Saturday night as, shooter, Terry Majors and victims, Majors’ grandson, Ty Dodson and Majors’ wife, Leigh Shea-Majors.

The triple shooting death occurred in the 3000 block of Dockside Drive in Hermitage after 7 p.m. Saturday evening.

Metro Police officially identified the victims of the Saturday evening murder suicide on Dockside Drive in Hermitage.

According to police, 64-year-old Terry Majors is believed to have fatally shot his wife, 61-year-old Shea-Majors and his 6-year-old grandson Dodson before turning the gun on himself. His 4-year-old daughter was uninjured and ran to a neighbor for help, reports WSMV.

A motive in the killings was not provided by officials.

The investigation is ongoing.
