MORGAN COUNTY, WV. (THECOUNT) — Wednesday night the state medical examiner’s office positively identified the remains found last Thursday in the 5500 block of Tuscarora Pike, in Martinsburg, as Riley Crossman, of Berkeley Spring, W.Va.
Police have not disclosed details about the manner or cause of 15-year-old Crossman’s death.

Police have charged Andy Jackson McCauley Jr., 41, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., with her murder.
Riley’s body was found last Thursday in the 5500 block of Tuscarora Pike, just east of Swinging Bridge Road in Berkeley County, ending a search that began May 8, reports HeraldMailMedia.
“The motive may not be known for some time,” officials said last week after McCauley had been charged.
A preliminary hearing for McCauley has been scheduled for Friday in Morgan County Magistrate Court, according to court records.
A funeral service for Riley is set for Sunday.
