LINCOLN, NE. (THECOUNT) — Jacob Stewart, of Altoona, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a head-on Lincoln crash Monday night.
Stewart, 28, was operating a vehicle traveling near 70th Street and Eldora Lane on Monday, when for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines, exited the roadway and collided with an SUV traveling in the opposite direction, according to witnesses.

Two people in a southbound SUV were transported to area hospitals. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Stewart was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent crash.
According to the LPD accident report, a witness said they saw Stewart’s vehicle driving northbound on 70th Street when it veered across the center line, striking the SUV. source
A crash report noted Stewart was not wearing a seatbelt.
