WASHINGTON, NC. (THECOUNT) — Williamston Police Department lieutenant, Anthony Bowen, of Washington, North Carolina, has passed away in Greenville on Tuesday after a short battle with cancer, colleagues announced Wednesday.
Bowen, 43, died at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville Tuesday. He had been battling cancer since early summer 2018, according to reports.

According to his obituary, memorial services with police honors will be held later this week and will be announced by Walker Funeral Home.
