DAVIE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Miami, Florida man, Johansen Concepcion De La Ros, has been arrested after shooting a puppy being walked by Davie woman, Roshelle Parson, from the balcony of an apartment building.

De La Ros, 19, is accused of killing an 8-month-old puppy using a “sniper style,” weapon fired from a balcony to the street below.

A woman, who the suspect did not know, was walking her dog, “Princess,” along a trail near the Remove term: Centro at Davie by Centro at Davie by ARIUM Apartments, when suddenly the animal shrieked and fell bleeding to the ground bleeding.

Officials said the dog’s owner was “covered in blood,” and holding a limp puppy, upon police arrival.

According to the arrest report, Roshelle Parson was taking her daughter’s dog, Princess, for a walk along a trail in the 2800 block of Southwest 73rd Way around 6:30 p.m. when the dog was shot.

Police later determined that De La Ros fired the deadly shot from a balcony of a nearby apartment complex. A a “sniper style” pellet rifle matching the animals fatal injuries was recovered at the scene.

The suspect was jailed under a $2,500 bond at Broward County Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale.
