YAPHANK, NY. (THECOUNT) — A wild scene in Yaphank Saturday into Sunday after more than 100 vehicles allegedly shut down a roadway for illegal street racing.
Police said they responded to a report of multiple cars racing on Express Drive North at Exit 66 overnight.

Investigators say when they got there they found more than 100 vehicles blocking the roadway from just west of County Road 101 to Lincoln Road. source
Officers issued 27 summonses to multiple drivers for various violations.
