SMITHVILLE, OH. (THECOUNT) — Ohio school resource officer, Maryssa Boskoski, has been placed on unpaid leave after being accused of waking a sleeping student, by firing her taser.
Boskoski, 32, was called to a classroom when a sleeping student wouldn’t wake up for a Liberty Prep teacher or principal. Officials say, the Smithville police officer, removed the cartridge from the Taser and “arced” it. Authorities say the sparking sound and noise from the other students woke the sleeping student up.
