The Friday afternoon crash occurred when a southbound pickup truck crossed the median, striking the family’s minivan, which landed on the median, a Delaware state police spokeswoman said.
The family had been returning from a trip to Ocean City, Maryland, when the tragic crash occurred.
Showtime actress Sara Contreras of the show “Latin Diva of Comedy” who knew Danna Trinidad, paid tribute to the girl on social media.
“Danna, a lovely and brilliant Teaneck HS student and beloved friend of my extended family, was killed yesterday along with her three sisters and father in a car accident,” Contreras wrote on Instagram Saturday. “Make everyday a new opportunity to value yourself, your family and your friends. Life is too precious and it can all be taken in a second. We grieve as a community for this beautiful family. Its incredibly sad and incomprehensible.” source
A memorial was slated for 9 p.m. Saturday at Votee Park in Teaneck, according to a report.
