After an on-stage pro-Donald Trump rant, a very public meltdown and subsequent hospital stay, Kanye West emerged, blonde, at Trump Tower on Tuesday for a surprise meeting with President-elect Donald Trump. Since the quicky meeting, folks on social media are fueling speculation West may have inked a deal to perform at Trump’s highly anticipated inauguration.
After the 15-minute meet, West, 39, and Trump posed for paps in the lobby of Trump Tower. It was the first real outing by West since he was discharged from a Los Angeles psychiatric hospital over a still unexplained “condition.”

Asked about the purpose of the 15-minute meeting, Trump told reporters: “Friends, just friends. He’s a good man. Long time. Friends for a long time.” Trump added that the two had talked about “Life. We discussed life.” West, looking solemn and sporting a new blond hairdo, gave no explanation for their meeting, saying only, “I’m just here to take a picture right now,” and giving the media a thumbs up sign.
