Dear Count,

We have exciting news to share. This April, My Starbucks Rewards becomes Starbucks Rewards, a new program that reflects the #1 request we heard from members: more Stars awarded based on what you buy, no matter how often you visit.

“WHAT’S CHANGING

You’ll earn 2 Stars for every $1 you spend on coffee, food, drinks, mugs–and more. As a Gold member, once you earn 125 Stars, you’ll be able to redeem them for anything on the menu.*

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

We’ll take care of everything. All the Stars in your account will multiply to reflect the change once we launch the new program in April. For most members, this means earning rewards just as fast or faster, but for some, it might mean taking a little longer to get that free treat.

MORE GOOD THINGS TO COME

In addition to the benefits you enjoy today, we’ll also be introducing a new benefit: monthly Double-Star Days. And that’s just the beginning–soon we’ll be launching new ways for you to earn more Stars, both in and out of our stores.
