Today’s 7.8 major earthquake that shook just southeast of Dalbandin in Pakistan, created its very own island. On a sad note, it also killed at least 48 area residents. Talk about an unexpected eyesore of a reminder for the townspeople of this unfortunate natural disaster!

The earthquake was so strong that it caused the seabed to rise creating a moderate sized mountain-like island! About 600 yards off Pakistan’s Gwadar coastline in the Arabian Sea.
