ROCHESTER, NY. (THECOUNT) — Felicia Guy, 37, of Rochester, New York, has been charged with first- and second-degree assault after police say her 1- and 2-year-old children suffered injuries consistent with physical abuse, including the older child being hospitalized in critical condition.
Rochester Police said Guy called 911 around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday to report that her 2-year-old son was unconscious and experiencing abnormal breathing. She told emergency dispatchers that the child had struck his head about 20 minutes earlier.

Medical personnel transported the unconscious boy to a hospital, where he remained in critical condition. Police said medical personnel discovered multiple injuries that they determined were indicative of physical abuse.
According to police, the boy suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, subdural hemorrhaging, significant facial bruising and swelling, skin injuries and multiple adult-sized bite marks.
Guy’s 1-year-old daughter was also inside the home and was found with injuries that police said were consistent with physical abuse. Investigators reported numerous bruises and abrasions involving the girl’s face, lips, back and legs, along with approximately nine adult-sized bite marks.
Police have charged Guy with assault in the first degree and assault in the second degree. Investigators said additional charges could be considered by a Monroe County Grand Jury as the case proceeds.
Guy was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning in Rochester.
According to information posted on social media, Guy is also identified as the owner of Styles by Fefe Wigs Boutique, a Rochester-area wig business.
Rochester is located in Monroe County in western New York, along Lake Ontario and about 70 miles east of Buffalo. The city is the county seat and the center of the greater Rochester metropolitan area.
