MACON, GA. (THECOUNT) — Quintoriah Jones, 26, has been identified as the woman killed Saturday night in a wrong-way head-on crash on Interstate 75 in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal collision occurred on southbound I-75 near Rocky Creek Road, between Rocky Creek Road and Eisenhower Parkway. The crash was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center shortly before 10:20 p.m.

Witnesses told deputies that Jones appeared to be driving a white Toyota Camry north in the southbound lanes of I-75 when the vehicle collided head-on with a burgundy Ford Fusion.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, a 38-year-old man, was transported to a local hospital by paramedics. A 39-year-old male passenger and a 40-year-old female passenger in the Ford were also transported for treatment.
The Ford’s 38-year-old driver and 40-year-old female passenger were listed in stable condition. The 39-year-old male passenger was listed in critical condition.
The crash forced authorities to close the southbound lanes of I-75 while emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene. The roadway was reopened shortly after midnight.
The circumstances that led Jones‘ Toyota Camry to enter the southbound lanes while traveling north remain under investigation. The sheriff’s office has not released additional information explaining how the wrong-way movement began.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones identified the deceased woman as Quintoriah Jones.
Investigators are continuing to examine the collision, including the movements of the vehicles immediately before the head-on impact. No additional details about the investigation were provided in the initial report.
