HAPEVILLE, GA. (THECOUNT) — Trans reality TV personality Sidney Starr has been arrested in Georgia and charged with multiple child sex offenses, according to booking records. Authorities allege Starr is accused of offenses involving a minor under the age of 16.
Starr is known for appearances on reality television programs including “Love & Hip Hop: New York” and “Wild ‘N Out.”

According to booking records, Starr was taken into custody Sunday by the Hapeville Police Department and charged with sexual battery against a child under 16, aggravated child molestation, and sodomy.
Authorities allege Starr confessed to performing oral sex on a minor at an Embassy Suites hotel in Hapeville. Additional details regarding the allegations, including the circumstances surrounding the investigation and the identity of the alleged victim, have not been released.
Starr first gained public attention after making claims of a romantic relationship with rapper Chingy, which were later acknowledged as fabricated. Chingy previously said the false claims against him negatively affected his career. Starr later apologized for the statements.
