Video: Dave Portnoy Barstool Sports Suffers Worst Celebrity Family Feud Loss In Show History 543-0

LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Dave Portnoy and the Barstool Sports team suffered a historic shutout during their appearance on Celebrity Family Feud, losing 543-0 to the family of Dallas Mavericks All-Star Cooper Flagg in what has been reported as the worst defeat in the show’s 13-season history.

Celebrity Family Feud is filmed in the Los Angeles area and is one of television’s most popular celebrity game shows, hosted by comedian and television personality Steve Harvey.

Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, was joined by members of the sports media company’s team as they competed against Flagg’s family on the latest episode of the ABC game show. Despite advancing through four survey questions, the Barstool team failed to register a single point throughout the competition.

The questions posed to contestants included: “A TSA dog is making a beeline for you at the airport, what do you do?”; “Name something a player probably has that a regular guy might not”; “Name something you can only do for five minutes before you get tired of it”; and “What makes pizza so good is ___.”

Barstool Sports was unable to provide any answers that appeared on the survey board during the game, resulting in the unprecedented 543-0 final score.

One of the episode’s most talked-about moments came when Portnoy answered “big d*ck” in response to the question asking what a player might have that a regular person does not. Harvey appeared momentarily stunned by the response before apologizing to Flagg’s mother during the broadcast.

Flagg, one of the NBA’s rising young stars, was represented by members of his family during the competition. Their dominant performance secured the victory while simultaneously placing Barstool Sports in Celebrity Family Feud history for the largest margin of defeat since the celebrity version of the series began.

Neither Portnoy nor Barstool Sports appeared to take the loss too seriously, as clips from the episode quickly circulated online and generated widespread discussion among fans of both Celebrity Family Feud and Barstool Sports.

The 543-0 final score is believed to be the largest shutout in Celebrity Family Feud’s 13-season run.
