EAST AURORA, NY. (THECOUNT) — Bryan Bratos, 38, has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday in the Town of Aurora, New York.

According to East Aurora Police, officers were dispatched just before 1 p.m. Sunday following reports of a motorcycle crash on Mill Road in the Town of Aurora.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located Bratos suffering from serious injuries.

Fire personnel and medics with AMR provided lifesaving measures; however, Bratos was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities later identified the motorcyclist as Bratos, a resident of East Aurora.

The crash occurred on Mill Road in the Town of Aurora, a community located in Erie County in western New York. The town surrounds the Village of East Aurora and is situated approximately 20 miles southeast of downtown Buffalo.

East Aurora is known for its residential neighborhoods, rural roadways, and agricultural areas that connect communities throughout southern Erie County. Mill Road is one of several local roads serving residents and travelers in the area.

The Town of Aurora and Village of East Aurora are part of the Buffalo metropolitan region, which includes a network of local, county, and state-maintained roadways linking suburban and rural communities across western New York.
