ST. LOUIS, MO. (THECOUNT) — Pierre Leech, 27, of St. Louis, was killed Friday night after being struck by multiple vehicles in a hit-and-run crash along Gravois Avenue in south St. Louis, according to authorities.
The fatal collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Gravois Avenue in the Tower Grove East neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Leech was crossing Gravois Avenue when he stopped in the center turn lane.
Investigators said an unknown driver operating a white vehicle was traveling eastbound in the center turn lane when the vehicle struck Leech.
Police said the driver failed to stop and fled the scene.
Following the initial impact, Leech fell into the westbound travel lanes of Gravois Avenue where he was struck by a black Toyota Corolla.
Authorities said the Corolla driver remained at the scene and is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.
Leech suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department continues to search for the driver of the white vehicle involved in the initial hit-and-run.
Investigators have not yet released a description of the driver.
