INTERNETS. (THECOUNT) — Popular YouTube star MrBeast has spoken out after his longtime co-host, Ava Kris Tyson, faced serious grooming allegations. In a statement released on X, MrBeast assured fans that he is thoroughly investigating the matter and confirmed that Ava has exited her role amid the controversy.
MrBeast revealed that a third-party investigation has been initiated to examine the allegations against Ava. He emphasized that there was enough evidence to remove Ava from his team but will wait for the investigation’s conclusion before taking any further action. MrBeast stated, “I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts… I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions.”
“Over the last few days, I’ve become aware of the serious allegations of Ava Tyson’s behavior online and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts.
During that time, I have been focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts. That said, I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast. I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions.
I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings.”
The allegations against Ava involve claims of grooming a young fan, LavaGS, made by YouTube user Prism42 in a 45-minute video. The video accused Ava of sending inappropriate messages to LavaGS when he was only 13. Ava responded on X, apologizing for what she described as “bad edgy jokes” but denied any grooming behavior.
Ava, who came out as trans last year, has been subjected to online harassment, with the new allegations sparking further transphobic attacks. LavaGS, now 20, defended Ava, calling the accusations “massive lies” and insisting that Ava never exploited or took advantage of him.
