GREENE COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — One person died Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Greene County. Linda K. Morris, 55, was driving on Route 188 through Jefferson Borough when the incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m., according to the Greene County Coroner’s Office.
Morris, a resident of Jefferson, was pronounced dead by the coroner approximately an hour after the crash. The cause and manner of her death are pending the results of an autopsy, which will provide further details.
State police, who are investigating the crash, have not released any additional information, including whether anyone else was injured.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances leading to the collision.
