TORONTO, CAN. (THECOUNT) — Rapper Drake‘s mansion is facing severe weather in Toronto, transforming his luxurious estate into an unintended water park. The intense flooding has caused significant damage, with brown liquid flowing into a living room area through what appears to be a large walk-in closet.
Drake shared footage of the scene, showing a house staff member attempting to keep a door closed to protect his wardrobe, while he walks through the watery mess with a broom. Despite the frustrating situation, the rapper maintains a good attitude, joking about the brownish water, “This better be Espresso Martini.”
Large sections of Toronto are underwater following three major storms that left citizens stranded and without power. Fortunately, Drake’s mansion still has power, despite the flooding.
The city received almost 4 inches of rain on Tuesday alone, breaking an over 80-year-old record. Drake’s mansion, valued at over $100 million and spanning 50,000 sq. ft., has endured a lot recently, including a drive-by shooting and alleged trespassers amid his feud with Kendrick Lamar. It looks like Drake will have to add a major home cleanup to his 2024 “to do” list, alongside his post-“Not Like Us” career comeback.
