LOUISVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) — In a devastating accident, 33-year-old Tyler Heraldson has died following a crash on the Gene Snyder Freeway in Louisville, Kentucky. The Jefferson County Coroner confirmed Heraldson’s death after the Friday evening wreck.
Louisville Police responded to the scene in the 7100 block of Bardstown Road. According to their initial investigation, Heraldson was driving southwest on the Gene Snyder when he lost control of his vehicle. The car veered off the shoulder, rolled down an embankment, and landed on the northbound lanes of Bardstown Road.
Emergency responders from Fern Creek Fire and EMS rushed to the scene. Heraldson was transported to UofL Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
