ST. MARTIN PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Allen Shane LeBlanc, of Lafayette, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning motorcycle crash in St. Martin Parish.
LeBlanc, 52, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Breaux Bridge early Saturday morning.
According to reports, LeBlanc was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Highway 341 near Lawless Tauzin Road in Breaux Bridge, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 1 a.m. Saturday. The bike then came into contact with a fence.
LeBlanc, who was ejected from the motorcycle during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
