ARENAC COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Jacob Noah Southgate, of Akron, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a double-fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Arenac County.
Southgate, 24, was killed in a two-vehicle Standish Township crash that also killed Larry Foster, 74, of Standish, a passenger in the involved pickup truck.
According to reports, Southgate was operating a Yamaha motorcycle on M-13 near Bordeau Road in Standish, when the bike came into contact with a pickup truck performing a left hand turn around 3 p.m. Sunday.
Southgate was killed in the collision.
Foster also died in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
