WASHINGTON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Benjie Anthony Covington, of McIntosh, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday morning fatal motorcycle crash in Washington County.
Covington, 52, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near McIntosh Monday morning.
According to reports, Covington was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on John Johnston Road near McIntosh, when for unknown reasons, the bike exited the roadway and came into contact with an embankment around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Covington was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
