BARRY COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Rylan Luke Wilson, of Cassville, Missouri, has been identified the victim in a Wednesday night double-fatal motorcycle crash in Barry County.
Wilson, 19, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash that also killed a 14-year-old Wednesday night near Cassville.
According to reports, Wilson was operating a motorcycle on Missouri 248 near Cassville, when for unknown reasons, the bike exited the roadway before coming into contact with an embankment around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Wilson and his 14-year-old passenger were both ejected from the bike during the wreck.
The 14-year-old was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Wilson was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
