MONTGOMERY COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Ian Brunner, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the University of Dayton student killed in a Sunday night fatal incident involving a vehicle in Montgomery County, Ohio.
Brunner, 22, who graduated earlier in the day, was killed after a vehicle fell on him Sunday night on the Dayton campus.
According to reports, Brunner was working under a vehicle in the 300 block of Irving Avenue in Dayton, when the vehicle fell and crushed him around 7 p.m. Sunday.
University of Dayton Public Safety is currently investigating the incident.
“We extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to Ian’s family, friends, faculty, staff and our entire campus community,” the school wrote in the announcement.
