NASSAU COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Amandeep Singh, of Roslyn, New York, has been identified as the driver involved in a double-fatal vehicle crash that took the lives of two teens Wednesday night in Nassau County.

Aman Singh, 34, was arrested following a deadly multi-vehicle crash in Jericho Wednesday night.

According to reports, Singh was operating a Dodge Ram pickup truck on North Broadway in Jericho, when the vehicle came into contact with an Alfa Romeo carrying four teenage Long Island boys. The Alfa then rear-ended a Volvo, occupied by a 49-year-old female and her 16-year-old male passenger.

In victims in the Volvo were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.

Two 14 year olds in the Alfa were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene. Two others boys in the Alfa, ages 16 and 17, transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

Singh was transported with minor injuries. He was later charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. He is expected to be arraigned Thursday.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
