FRANKLIN COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — William Dawson Bach, of Lexington, Kentucky, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Monday morning fatal vehicle collision in Franklin County.
“Will” Bach, 25, was killed after he was struck by a vehicle Monday morning in Lexington.
According to reports, Bach was on-foot on Interstate 64 in Frankfort in the area of Mile Marker 49, when he was struck by a passing vehicle around 5:45 a.m. Monday.
Bach, who has ties to Wheaton, Illinois, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The coroner’s office confirmed Bach’s injuries were consistent with a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
