MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Joshua Zuniga, of Woodway, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday fatal vehicle crash in McLennan County.
Zuniga, 26, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor Thursday morning near Waco.
According to reports, Zuniga was operating a Lexus ES-300 on Highway 84 near Aviation Parkway east of Bellmead, when he attempted to perform a left hand turn and was struck by a Peterbilt tractor-trailer around 11 a.m. Thursday.
Zuniga was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
