ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Kerry Forrest, of Vineland, New Jersey, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal vehicle crash in Atlantic County.
Forrest, 34, was killed in a multi-vehicle crash involving a child in Hamilton Township Thursday night.
According to reports, Forrest was operating an SUV on Millville Avenue near Pittsburgh Avenue in Mays Landing in Hamilton, when the vehicle came into contact with a guardrail around 5:45 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then entered opposing lanes before coming into contact with two other SUVs.
Forrest was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
A 5-year-old was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The other involved SUV drivers, a 50-year-old Vineland woman, and a 44-year-old Vineland man, were hospitalized with injuries police said were not life-threatening.
The Hamilton Police Department is investigating the crash.
