PINELLAS COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Jona Joy Waller, of St. Petersburg, Florida, has been identified as the victim in a Friday afternoon fatal stabbing in Pinellas County.
Waller, 34, was fatally stabbed in St. Petersburg Friday afternoon.
According to reports, police responded to a call of an unresponsive woman laying in an alley on the 200 block of 37th Street North Friday afternoon. When they arrived, Waller was found suffering from apparent stab wounds.
Waller was pronounced dead of stab wound injuries at the scene.
There is no threat to the community at this time, according to authorities.
This deadly incident remains under investigation.
