KING COUNTY, WA. (THECOUNT) — Holistic doctor Zohreh Sadeghi, 33, and her husband Mohammed, have been identified as the victims in a double murder-suicide in King County, Washington on Friday.

Texas man, Ramin Khodakaramrezaei, 38, who was a fan of Zohreh’s podcasts, reportedly broke into the couple’s home in Redmond and shot the couple dead on Friday.

Zohreh’s mother escaped the home and called 911 after Khodakaramrezae broke into the residence through a window.

Khodakaramrezaei, a long haul trucker, is believed to have traveled to Washington, where he allegedly stalked Zohreh before killing her and her husband in what police call a double-murder suicide.

Officials responded to the 16700 block of Northeast 89th Street in the Education Hill area of Redmond after receiving a call from Zohreh’s mother. When they arrived, the couple was found dead. The shooter was also found deceased of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The news outlet reported that Khodakaramrezaei, who is from Texas, was never served the order as he was difficult to locate due to his work in trucking.

Redmond Police Chief Darrell Lowe revealed that detectives alerted him to the stalking case days before Friday’s shooting due. In the protective order, Zohreh alleged Khodakaramrezaei called her or left voicemails for her at least 10 times a week. She also claimed he messaged her husband at least 20 times a day.

The Daily Mail reported that Zoreh also claimed Khodakaramrezaei came to her house with flowers and said he was going to have a band play outside her home. She recounted instances in which Khodakaramrezaei would park near the home to watch her.

“He has bursts of anger and is completely delusional,” she stated in the no-contact order. “These delusions make me fear for my life and the lives of my loved ones.”

Khodakaramrezaei did not have a criminal record. Police are investigating whether he came to Washington with the sole purpose of killing Zohreh and her husband or if he just happened to be in the area.
