BEAUREGARD PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Marvin Francis Bolton Jr., of Deridder, Louisiana, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Saturday fatal vehicle strike in Beauregard Parish.
Bolton, 39, was killed after he was struck by two vehicles in Deridder Saturday morning.
According to reports, Bolton was on-foot in the area of Highway 171 and LA-3226, when he was struck by a pair of passing vehicles around 5 a.m. Saturday.
Bolton was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Routine toxicology tests are pending.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
