JOHNSON COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Denis Mutunga Wambua, of Olathe, Kansas, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal vehicle crash in Johnson County.
Wambua, 33, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lenexa late Tuesday night.
According to reports, Wambua was operating a vehicle on Interstate 35 near Interstate 435 in Lenexa, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and came into contact with a Median barrier wall.
Wambua was pronounced dead of bunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
