SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Roger Barnes, of Greer, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim who died on Sunday following a fatal vehicle crash in Spartanburg County.
Barnes, 70, was involved in a vehicle crash in Greer on Saturday and died in an area hospital early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Barnes was operating a vehicle on Highway 101 near Berry Shoals Road in Greer, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle wrecked on Saturday.
Barnes was pronounced dead at 1:58 a.m. Sunday.
Officials say South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
