YOUNG COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Mark Wyatt Blackwell and Roy Dean Voss, both of Graham, Texas, have been identified as the victims in a Friday morning double-fatal electrical fire in Young County.
Blackwell and Voss, both 65, were killed while trimming trees in Graham late Friday morning.
According to reports, the men were working as tree trimmers on the 800 block of Kentucky Street, near Graham High School, when the basket of a Genie boom-type lift they were in came into contact with power lines around 11 a.m. Friday. The basket then burst into flames.
Blackwell and Voss (pictured,) were both pronounced dead at the scene.
According to social media, the men worked for Coach’s Tree Removal & Trimming.
At this time, the incident is being investigated by the Graham Police Department as an accident.
