CTEH Employees ID’d As Victims Killed In Wednesday Little Rock Plane Crash

PULASKI COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) — Gunter Beaty, Kyle Bennett, Micah Kendrick, Sean Sweeney, and Glenmarkus Walker, have been identified as the five people killed in a twin-engine plane crash on Wednesday in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Wednesday.

All five victims were employed at North Little Rock-based environmental consulting firm, CTEH.

The employees were on their way to Bedford, Ohio, in response to an explosion at a metal manufacturing plant. The incident left one individual killed and dozens more injured.

The twin-engine Beech BE20 crashed in a wooded area after taking off from Little Rock’s Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. It was en route to John Glenn Columbus International Airport in Ohio, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

CTEH released the following statement announcing their employee’s deaths:

“It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of our colleagues.”

“We ask that you join us in praying for their families, friends, and everyone here at CTEH during this difficult time.”

According to the firm’s official website, the company “empowers extraordinary teams of experts to help companies, governments, and communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from threats to their environment and people.”

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
