MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Wiley Jackson, of Columbus, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a Friday morning fatal shooting in Muscogee County.
Jackson, 63, was fatally shot in Columbus early Friday morning.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 900 block of Ewart Avenue in Columbus around 4:30 a.m. Friday. When they arrived, Jackson was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Jackson was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
No suspect or motive information was provided.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
