BERKELEY COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Drew Allan Holler, of Summerville, South Carolina, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Sunday fatal vehicle strike in Berkeley County.
Holler, 43, was killed after he was struck by a vehicle near Ladson early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Holler had exited his vehicle to assist the driver of a disabled Honda Civic in the 800 block of College Park Road in Ladson, when a Jeep SUV entered the median and came into contact with Holler and the disabled Honda around 2 a.m. Sunday.
Holler, who has ties to Grand Forks, North Dakota, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
It is unclear whether or not the Jeep driver will face any charges in the deadly crash.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
