RAMSEY COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Cadence Allen and Ayden Nelson have been identified as the Wisconsin high school students killed in a violent vehicle crash in Ramsey County, Minnesota Friday night.
Allen and Nelson, both students at Prescott High School, were both killed in a Friday night St. Paul single-crash that sent several other teens to the hospital.
According to reports, a 16-year-old male was operating a vehicle on U.S. Highway 61 in St. Paul, when for unknown reasons, possible speed related, the vehicle rolled over and went airborne before making contact with a grouping of trees.
Allen and Ayden were both pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the wreck.
An third unidentified Prescott High School student was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The other involved youth was not identified.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
