MACON COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Cameron Taylor, of Decatur, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal shooting in Macon County.
Taylor, 30, was fatally shot in Decatur early Tuesday morning.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 500 block of South 19th Street in Decatur around 12:40 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, Taylor was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Taylor was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
No suspect or motive information was provided by officials.
