CA Man Jim Swist ID’d As Body Found On Mission Hills 118 Freeway On-Ramp Tuesday

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — James Anthony Swist, of Mission Hills, California, has been identified as the body found on a Los Angeles County freeway onramp on Tuesday.

The body of Jim Swist, 59, was found on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway on-ramp in Mission Hills on Tuesday.

According to reports, Swist’s body was discovered on the embankment adjacent to the Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp to the eastbound 118 Freeway before the start of the morning rush hour Tuesday.

His death is being considered a homicide, however, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson stopped short of providing a cause of death.

CHP homicide investigators are asking for witnesses to come forward.
