NE Woman Stacie Beutler ID’d As Victim In Monday Night York Fatal Shooting Bart Beutler Arrested Murder

YORK COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Stacie Beutler, of York, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal shooting in York County. Bart Justin Beutler was arrested in the killing.

Stacie Beutler, 46, was fatally shot at a York residence Monday night. Bart Beutler, 47, was taken into custody and charged with murder.

According to reports, officers responded to a call of shots fired at 84 South Platte Avenue in York around 9:50 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, Stacie was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Stacie, aka, Stacie Barton, was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene.

A short time later, Bart Beutler was arrested at a nearby residence. He was charged with murder in the first degree, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person. He was transported to York County Jail on a no-bail order.

The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
