STEUBEN COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Shane Oakley, of Bath, New York, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night fatal vehicle crash in Steuben County.
Oakley, 42, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Campbell late Tuesday night.
According to reports, Oakley was operating a vehicle on NY-415 in Campbell, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a tree.
Oakley was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
