FORSYTH COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Rashaad Devaughn Pitts, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal shooting at a Forsyth County Popeyes Chicken.
Pitts, aka, “Drip Juice Jones,” was fatally shot Friday night while at a Popeyes Chicken drive-thru in Winston-Salem Friday night.
According to reports, officers responded to a call of shots fired in at the restaurant at 500 North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Winston-Salem around 8 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, Pitts was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the parking lot area.
Pitts was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene.
Investigators say that Pitts was in the drive-thru at Popeyes when he was shot.
