TALLAPOOSA COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Phebe Foy, from Tuskegee, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle crash in Tallapoosa County.
Foy, 48, was killed in a vehicle crash involving an animal in the roadway near Reeltown on Wednesday night.
According to reports, Foy was operating a vehicle on AL-120 near Notasulga, when the vehicle came into contact with a deer around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then exited the roadway before coming into contact with a tree.
Foy, who was now living in Auburn, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
