SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Julian Sands missing update: A vehicle belonging to actor Julian Sands has been located near where he went missing last Friday while hiking on Mount Baldy in San Bernardino County, California.
Sands, 65, who starred in the “Warlock” franchise, “Arachnophobia,” “A Room With a View,” and many other films, has been missing for nearly a week in the Southern California mountains, where he was hiking, authorities said Wednesday.

Sands’ son Henry has joined the search. He is reportedly retracing the route his father took, with the assistance of an experienced climber. Authorities have found what is believed to be the actor’s car, near the hike route.
An image showed Sands’ vehicle being towed away as officials continue the search.
Search and rescue crews looked for Sands in the area of the San Gabriel Mountains, about 40 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles, but had to suspend the ground search on Saturday because of trail conditions and avalanche risks, and have not been able to resume since, officials said.
Crews are searching for Sands as weather allows with helicopters and drones, and will resume the ground search when it’s safe, authorities said.
The English-born actor now lives in North Hollywood, California. He is married to Guinness heiress Evgenia Citkowitz, whose sister Ivana was actually the daughter of writer Ivan Moffat. Evgenia and Ivana are the granddaughters of the late Maureen [Guinness], Marchioness of Dufferin and Ava, one of a glamorous trio of sisters.
Sands has worked consistently in the decades since with smaller roles in film and television.
