VA Couple Donna & John Daugherty ID’d As Victims Killed By Adopted Teen Son Monday In Chesapeake Home

CHESAPEAKE, VA. (THECOUNT) — Donna Daugherty and John Daugherty, of Chesapeake, Virginia, have been identified as the victims allegedly brutally murdered by their adopted teen son at their home on Tuesday.

Donna, 61 and 60-year-old John, were both killed in an apparent attack by their adopted 15-year-old son at their Chesapeake residence on Tuesday.

According to reports, the couple were found deceased after they were apparently bludgeoned or stabbed to death. Police said either a knife or hammer was used to commit the heinous crimes.

The teen is facing double-murder charges after police believe he killed his two adoptive parents.

The deaths remain under investigation.

The 15-year-old is due in court Wednesday.
