FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Tamieka Ross, of Columbus, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday evening fatal shooting in Franklin County.
Ross, 45, was fatally shot in Columbus on Sunday evening. 50-year-old Sinnea Thomas was arrested in connection to the deadly incident.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired at 777 Butler Avenue in Columbus on Sunday around 5 p.m. When they arrived, Ross was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Ross was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene.
Detectives determined that Ross was residing with Thomas when the pair were involved in an argument that escalated to a shooting.
Thoman fled the scene but remanded himself into custody later in the night.
